DR. JIM TRAKIS
OWNER & PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Dr. Jim Trakis has been in the physical therapy/ sports medicine field since 2003. He graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Biology in 2000, and completed his doctoral degree in physical therapy at Drexel University thereafter. As part of his training, he completed an extended clinical internship specializing in the application of manual physical therapy techniques. Jim has since garnered over 13 years of experience treating orthopedic and sports medicine related injuries.

He specializes in understanding how your injury affects your life and generating the most specific rehabilitative program for you. He is also a Graston trained clinician and routinely uses video analysis software to help diagnose movement dysfunction in patients as part of his repertoire.

DR. ERIC LIPPINCOTT

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Eric Lippincott PT, DPT is a graduate of the Rutgers Doctor of Physical Therapy South program. He attended both the University of Delaware and Stockton University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Movement Science. The extent of Eric’s clinical experience is diverse as he has practiced in both outpatient and in-patient Physical Therapy settings and has encountered a wide variety of patient presentations.

Eric’s primary area of interest is orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, and he will continue to adapt and grow his skill set in order to optimize outcomes for patients dealing with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular impairments. Eric has had the privilege of participating and being published in three research studies.  These studies explored potential injury risk factors for adolescent endurance athletes. In addition to his participation in research, Eric was fortunate to have been mentored by two PTs who were certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.  He wishes to continue to expand and refine his manual therapy techniques and be able to incorporate his research findings to create better patient outcomes. In his free time, Eric enjoys playing golf and hopes to implement his passion for the sport into his Physical Therapy practice.

Eric enjoys working with patients of all ages and likes to emphasize that Physical Therapy is much more than the rehabilitation process. He hopes that his patients are educated with the tools they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle even after they receive the necessary PT care. He wishes to emphasize overall wellness in his patients with a primary focus on injury prevention.
